As a young boy, living in Buenos Aires Argentina, I can remember spending hours drawing images that caught my interest. My desire to create artwork from a very early age and the thrill I felt in presenting my drawings to loved ones, has given me a feeling of joy that stays with me to this day. It is that feeling that continues to motivate my creativity.
My passion for drawing enabled me to fine-tune my abilities and pursue a career as an illustrator in Orange County California. Selling my illustrations and paintings to a variety of companies, corporations, and private collectors has allowed me the opportunity to make a living doing something I love.
Working in acrylics gives me the freedom to create the mood and atmosphere I desire in my paintings. It gives me the flexibility to achieve the look and feel of either a watercolor or an oil painting.
When I am working on a painting there is a special moment when I feel transported to the location I am creating. I am able to feel the warmth of the sun and the coolness of the shade and find myself wanting to explore what might be around the corner. My desire is that when others view my artwork, they may experience the same.
I feel blessed by God for the gift He has given me in allowing my dream to become a reality and I am thankful for the people in my life who encourage me, grant me opportunities, and pray for me.
It is my desire, that each one of my paintings is able to provide a feeling of peace and joy. I have come to learn that people may forget the words you speak and they may not recall the things you have done, but people will always remember the way you made them feel.
“I try to create within each of my paintings a romantic, impressionistic realism that is somewhere between reality and a dream. My desire is that each of my paintings will transport the viewer to a place of joy and peace.”
